Location:

Centrally located in San Antonio, Oak Meadow is just under three miles from Loop 1604 and under five miles from Loop 410. A 15 minute drive to the airport makes travel for business or leisure a breeze and at no more than 25 minutes to drive downtown, it is easy to explore the city or commute to work.

District and Schools:

Oak Meadow is in City Council District 8.

Schools are Oak Meadow Elementary (located right in our sub-division), Jackson Middle School, and Churchill High School. All are in the Northeast Independent School District. Child Montessori is also located in Oak Meadow.

Nearby Amenities:

Hardberger and Eisenhower Parks are close by, and our own Oak Meadow Park is open to all residents. It has picnic tables, play areas, and jungle gyms. The swimming pool and tennis courts are available to paying members of the Oak Meadow Swim and Tennis Club.

Nearby shopping includes The Rim, La Cantera, and North Star Mall.  Also, there are many drug stores and specialty shops plus HEB Alon and Walmart for groceries and more.  Cody Library and a U.S. Post Office are just a short drive away.

More About Oak Meadow:

An active non-mandatory Homeowners’ Association sponsors activities and events throughout the year as well as maintaining entrance landscape beds and perimeter mowing. Membership dues are currently $40.00 annually and the majority of homeowners do join.

There are restrictive covenants that apply to all property owners, whether or not they join the HOA.

The HOA, in conjunction with the Woman’s Club and Swim Club, publish a monthly newsletter. Residents can also sign up for a monthly eblast which keeps them informed of activities and events on a timely basis.  Eblast may also be used to quickly disseminate urgent notices.
